We are looking for a PhD student to investigate the role of immune checkpoints in the development and progression of cardiomyopathies. The position is embedded in CRC 1550, which studies the molecular causes of heart disease through epigenetic, RNA-biology and metabolic approaches combined with computational network analysis – a consortium of the Medical Faculties of Heidelberg and Mannheim together with EMBL and DKFZ.
Clinical and experimental topics for medical students (e.g. biomarkers, imaging, registry-based analyses). Current topics on request.
Unfortunately we do not currently have any open positions.
Insights into clinical cardio-oncology via the Department of Internal Medicine III. Clerkship and final-year (PJ) placements by arrangement.
